New Clients – Free Initial Consultation

Please feel free to call us with any questions you may have. Generally, a new client calls us, and we have a short conversation about their main concerns. Then, we schedule an in-person meeting to discuss their situation in more detail. Both initial consultations are free. There is no obligation or to make any decisions right then and there. You may certainly go home and think about it. However, the majority of clients are ready to get the ball rolling so they can move on with their lives.

If we decide to work together, Butwinick Law Office will provide a contract for you to sign that explains our role, expectations, and billing agreement. Bankruptcy filing generally involves flat-fee arrangements that include all the work involved in a standard bankruptcy filing. Additional work outside the standard filing is not common, but may occur at the client's request, and will generally involve a flat per-matter fee. Small business clients typically pay hourly fees for small or periodic projects. Retainers may be required for more complex cases. In either case, you will not owe anything or incur any obligations until the agreement is signed.
